The name "Fursat," meaning "leisure" or "free time," perfectly encapsulates our vision—a haven where people can escape the rush of everyday life, immerse themselves in the beauty of nature, and rejuvenate their souls. For years, our family sought respite from the hustle of city life in the lap of the Himalayas. Every winding road and majestic peak called us back, time and again, until one day, we decided to answer the call of the mountains for good.

Shubham, the driving force behind Fursat, is more than a host—he's an adventurer, storyteller, and a true mountain child. Though raised in the bustling city of Delhi, his heart always belonged to the tranquil Himalayas. Leaving behind a corporate career in the automobile industry, Shubham embraced his dream of creating a haven for fellow travellers.
In 2022, shortly after opening Fursat, Shubham embarked on an unforgettable pan-India bike trip with his father, spanning from Ladakh to Kanyakumari. This life-changing adventure deepened his love for the road, the freedom it offers, and the connections it fosters. This journey became a cornerstone of his vision for Fursat—a space where people could slow down, unwind, and find solace in nature.
Every corner of Fursat reflects his creativity, passion, and warmth. He takes immense joy in sharing his biking tales, helping guests plan unforgettable itineraries, and creating a welcoming space for meaningful connections. Khushboo, Shubham's wife, is a constant source of support and inspiration for Fursat Boutique Villa. While she continues her professional journey in Delhi, she frequently visits the homestay, bringing her warmth and enthusiasm to the hills.
An avid animal lover, vegan and a true believer in following dreams, Khushboo stood by Shubham's decision to leave city life and create Fursat. She dreams of opening a charming bakery near the villa, combining her love for the mountains and her passion for baking.

Meet Seema and Ravinder: The Mom and Dad
ADVENTUROUS SPIRITS
Seema and Ravinder were born in the picturesque mountains of Jammu and Kashmir. This adventurous couple has been avid bikers for over 35 years. Life may have taken them to Delhi, but their hearts always remained in the hills, drawing them back time and again.
Far from conventional, Seema and Ravinder encouraged Shubham to follow his dream of building Fursat in Manali. They're youthful, spirited, and full of captivating travel stories. Ravinder joined Shubham on a thrilling pan-India bike trip in 2022, while Seema reignited her passion for beauty by reopening her salon, across Fursat.
True Punjabis at heart, they share their love through warmth, laughter, rajma chawal and stuffed parathas—that keeps guests coming back for more!

TREKKER & MOUNTAIN ENTHUSIAST
Paarth, Shubham's brother, a lawyer navigating the corporate world, finds his heart beating for the mountains. A passionate trekker, biker, and people's person, he finds solace in the Himalayas, making him an integral part of Fursat.
Paarth loves exploring hidden trails and uncovering unexplored gems around Manali. His captivating trekking stories and knack for recommending offbeat adventures make him a favourite among guests.
